About the ContactFormSniper bot
If you saw ContactFormSniper/0.1 in your logs, that's us. Our customers use Contact Form Sniper to send short, individually written business messages through public website contact forms. Here's exactly how the bot behaves:
- It visits your homepage and contact page, then submits one message through your contact form on a customer's behalf, after that customer has reviewed it.
- It never attempts to solve or bypass a CAPTCHA, Cloudflare challenge, or any other bot protection. If your form has one, the bot leaves.
- It never fills hidden fields, never ticks consent boxes on your behalf, and never submits the same form twice for the same product within 30 days.
- It runs from our own cloud servers with an honest user agent. No residential proxies, no disguises.
- Every message includes a link to permanently opt your site out.
